Fireglo Tobacco Burst Bass guitar, normally used for bludgeoning things as opposed to giving stage shows. This is attributed to its extreme hardness. As an instrument, the quality of its sound is good enough, but when constructed, this guitar was made with an exceptional staying capacity. It can withstand blows from an Oo-Wazamono and even its strings won't be cut. Which is odd, but served to make it a coveted item among musicians. It's actually a refurbished model, having gone through circulation in the New World caused the original object to be riddled with wounds, and the wear and tear has subtracted from its overall ability as an instrument.

Acoustic Guitar: Exactly what it sounds like, a normal guitar that Barrel came to possess. It is a replacement for his Rickenbacker Bass which was irrevocably lost when trying to cross into the New World. For that reason, it is used as an instrument because it can't be used as a weapon without being destroyed. Because of Barrel's abilities as a musician though, it's threatening as long as it remained on his person.

Hebi(formerly): An item Barrel held for a very brief period of time. An ornament given life after being infused with a Zoan fruit, it gained the capacity to become a snake. Because of its nature as a piece of clothing, which enhance the wearer just by being worn, Hebi instilled Barrel with increased agility. It was the final reminder he had of the Black Pirates before everything went incredibly south. For the crew, and the ship too. These days, Barrel doesn't know where Hebi is. It left him and took the memory of the first Pirate Crew he was a part of with her. This is only his fault for misplacing her in the midst of a conflict.

Repertoire(Skills and Abilities)

Barrel's most prominent talent is his ability to play the guitar, he began his career as a pirate as a musician aboard Sirius Black's ship, that is, the real Sirius Black. His skill with playing was so large that he could either lull large parties of people into a slumber, or re-invigorate exhausted persons with his playing. As a bassist his skill has improved, but honestly, its not so noticeable an improvement, as is how much of a brutish person he's become to cope with the stress of the Grand Line.


Barrel's most iconic superhuman ability however, is undoubtedly the abilities garnered from the early consumption of the Moku Moku no mi. a Logia class Devil Fruit. The applications allow the consumer to generate, manipulate, and become smoke. When Barrel is hit, he can use the fruit's powers to become smoke, and leave himself unharmed. Like some other Logia class fruits, this one allows the user to fly by turning parts of their body into smoke and propelling themselves along. Barrel realized this very early, before he mastered the defensive properties of his fruit.

The main offensive capabilities of the Moku Moku no mi involve the alteration of smoke density. Effectively allowing for blunt attacks, and the ability to grasp things while in smoke form. In addition, the smoke created by this power is exceptionally foul, a trait that Barrel is not above abusing for the sake of victory in battle. He uses this to his advantage to asphyxiate large amounts of people, usually marine forces. When confronted with fire, however, the Moku Moku no mi's powers are canceled out, but will also cancel out the fire.

Durability: Barrel has a respectable amount of staying power for someone his age and standing. Meaning, among other Logia he can take a startling amount of punishment should the powers of his Devil Fruit be canceled out, because of how long it took him to master the defensive properties of his fruit and commit them to instinct. Simon Kreuss is also partially to blame for this, given the brief period of training they went through on an island together.

Straight Off: Barrel throws his arm forward. From the bicep down, it expands into an arc of smoke, with an exceptionally dense fist. This adds propulsion to a normally strong punch, to make the effects much more devastating.

Full Salvo: This begins in the same manner as Straight Off, but from different parts of the column of smoke, other smoke columns begin to branch off, and the process repeats itself from these branches. Each column ends in a dense portion in the vague shape of a fist or missile-head. These fly towards the opponent for maximum bombardment.

Motor: Barrel propels himself towards the enemy, by loosing smoke from the back of his shoulders.

White Coat: Barrel propels himself towards the enemy, by loosing smoke from the back of his shoulders, from there he draws back as if to attack his opponent, but in reality strikes the ground and explodes into a voluminous cloud of smoke to obscure their vision. From the top of this cloud his body reforms and he attacks with a blow aimed downward. This was first used in an attempt to strike Simon Kreuss, but it's acknowledged as a terrible sneak attack move all around, and is useless against someone with Kenbunshoku Haki. So, for that reason, its uses fell off once Barrel arrived in the New World.
