New Dobermann The-st10

New Dobermann is a territory formerly belonging to Athenas Bouvern of the Yonkou, it was taken from her after a week-long clash with the Shichibukai Gilles Kanis, and became the main base of operation of the Jagd in the New World. Taking a lot from old Dobermann, it was industrialized and outfitted with the best communication and defense technology available to the Warlord, becoming a powerful outpost in the second half of the Grand Line. Gilles still holds supreme authority over all decisions involving the island, but nominated the Second Commander, Haruki Yamamura, to be the governor in times of his absence.

Where Is It Located?

New Dobermann is located in the New World, bordering the territory of Yonkou Athena, and former territories of Ben Donalds, which are currently independent due to the bad politics of man who overtook Donalds. As such, unlike the old Dobermann, the island is under constant risk of attack - thus its development is mostly geared torwards its defenses. The place became heavily industrialized in two years, with cutting edge technology designed and supported by Aurelia Tress used to make it a proper center of Jagd operations.

If I Were To Visit, What Would I See?
Reasonable answer: The exit. Visiting New Dobermann for any reason is not really a preferable option if any other are present.


  • San Bernardo - a wide-spanning city-state that takes up most of New Dobermann surface; the characteristic thing about it is the mass of pipes and wires surrounding and connectiong the buildings, using various resourceful ideas to transfer messages from every point of the island without the obvious use of a Den Den Mushi, considered an improvement over original 'whistle alarm'. The city population is made up mostly of Jagd agents, though with some exceptions when it comes to basic industries like farms, inns, bakeries, smithies, sawmills and shipyards. Those make up only a small part though, due to majority of supplies being imported or just taken from annihilated pirate ships and fleets. San Bernardo experienced an extremely fast growth rate in both population density and technology level due to Jagd experiencing almost constant battles in the New World, providing both cash flow from bounties and influx of new 'dogs' coming from destroyed crews.
  • Jagd Central HQ - a dark, gloomy and oddly small building at the outskirts of San Bernardo - probably the most avoided place on the island; the small size is a diversion - 70% of the HQ is actually underground, holding the old Dobermann archives, prison cells and experimental facilities like Aurelia's laboratory. The surface building consists mainly of three big offices: Jagd Captain's Office, Governor's Office and Jagd Coordinator's Office - each coming with own bedroom and bathroom and connected to the 'message network' spanning the entire island.
  • Dog Pits - the only uninhabited part of the island, the pits are a wide, plain area filled with training equipment, weapon racks and makeshift rings, a place serving as both training area and execution platform. A Jagd agent won't be judged if he kills another in the pits - so members who belonged to warring crews before 'joining' oftentimes settle their old conflicts in here, and Jagd Commanders often visit here to test their skill and prove their superiority over the footsoldiers. All criminals of the island are also brought there and forced to face the agents, Commanders or themselves - that fact is one of the leading reasons for Dobermann low criminal activity.
  • Isle of Saint Bernard - a small isle separated from the main one, it was connected to San Bernardo by a long bridge but left mostly in its natural state; it's a serene place, a lush green jungle throbbing with life and filled with deadly animals, most of them making their first sound when they are biting off your arm. The island is known as a favoured training and relaxation spot of Samhein Derado, most likely cause the smokes of San Bernardo obscure the sun on the main island.

How is it protected?

Very well. The island was fortified with the goal of standing up to a Yonkou crew attempting to retake it, outfitted with the best materials and devices a former weapons dealer, Aurelia Tress, could collect, combined with the resource base and bounty money gathered by the entirety of old Dobermann. Some Marine technologies were introduced, but not much - the distrust on both sides is too strong - yet the overall inspiration for the defense system was the Marine Headquarters at Marineford, a place visited by Gilles during his Shichibukai career.

What kind of protection systems were used?



  • Jagd Bunker HQ  - the underground part of the Jagd HQ, holding the archive of all information collected by the Jagd network and effectivelly the 'heart' of Dobermann. Due to heavily fortified and reinforced nature of its construction, it was also the preferred spot for placing the seastone-laced prison chambers and Aurelia's weapon laboratory.
  • Entrapping Walls - retractable sections of walls spread around the entitety of San Bernado, they're used to cut off escape paths and separate any possible invading forces; the walls are made from steel with an addition of special alloy used by Aurelia in construction of her own body.
  • ''Whistle Web'' - network made of pipes and wires connecting every single building in Dobermann; they transfer all sounds coming on the island to rooms where they are analyzed and recorded, and may also be used to deliver an instant, silent alarm to all forces present in San Bernardo.
  • ARTZE forces - an acronym for 'Aru-Tress-Zen', a combinatory cyborg created from technology making up Aurelia Tress' body and physical data collected from both Aru Sakashi and Zen Xio, the ARTZE force is a small group of powerful robotic melee units used for recon and assassination missions; the units that aren't actively involved in any of those remain on Dobermann to be a part of the defense force.

''The Network''

What is it?

''The Network'' is a general name given to the information gathering branch of Jagd, the Cwn Annwn and field agents operating on similar basis to Cipher Pol, effect of Gilles' friendship with Othello. The agents gather all kinds of information on islands they are stationed at, from pirate and Marine activities to general wealth and economic standings of the islands, the information that is then collected and compiled into 'prediction maps' that display most probable, calculated movements and motivations of all pirate crews in the area - an information that's later relayed to the commanders and driving their actions, with the goal of making bounty and crew collecting as efficient and fast as possible.

The network recieves orders from two people: the 0th Commander of the Jagd and the Coordinator, who serves as the 0th's secretary and aide - thus, making the Coordinator an effective commander of the Cwn Annwn forces, the most numerous [though not the military strongest] part of the Wilde Jagd.
